Once outside on the pasture our birds flourish in the fresh air and sunshine while consuming insects, bugs, worms and green forages. This 24 hr outdoor life also brings predators into the equation, and boy do we have a bunch: coyotes, racoons, roaming dogs, redtail hawks, bald eagles and osprey. As you can see in the pictures to the left and right, we protect our birds from these natural predators with floorless, portable field shelters. We move these shelters everyday to a new, fresh, section of pasture to provide our birds with more insects and green forarages to consume.
